• Sewing needle

R6: (4 SC, 1 INC) x8 (48).
R7: (5 SC, 1 INC) x8 (56).
R8: (6 SC, 1 INC) x8 (64).
R9: BLO: 64 SC (64).
R10–R15: 64 SC (6 ROUNDS).

Switch to green yarn.

R31: (9 SC, 1 INC) x8 (88).
R32–R39: 88 SC (8 ROUNDS).
R40: (9 SC, 1 DEC) x8 (80).
R41–R43: 80 SC (3 ROUNDS).

Insert safety eyes between R36 and R37, spaced 10 stitches apart.

R44: (8 SC, 1 DEC) x8 (72).
R45: 72 SC (72).
R46: (7 SC, 1 DEC) x8 (64).
R47–R48: 64 SC (2 ROUNDS).
R49: (6 SC, 1 DEC) x8 (56).
R50: 56 SC (56).
R51: (1 SC, 1 DEC) x8 (48).

Embroider "X" stitches on the cactus with white thread as shown in the photo.

Pink Petals (Make 10)

• R1:

• Ch 10. Starting from the 2nd ch from hook:
  • 8 HDC,
  • 4 HDC in 1 ch,
  • 8 HDC,
  • Slst.
• R2:
• 8 SC,
• 4 INC,
• 8 SC,
• Slst.
• Sew 4 pink petals together to form a small flower.
• Sew 6 pink petals together to form a large flower.
• Attach yellow petals to the small flower, then sew it to the large flower.

Sew the completed flower onto the cactus.
