How to Wash an Amigurumi
I bring you some ᴛɪᴘs to keep in mind so your little doll doesn't suffer and lasts much longer!
- ❌ Do not wash it with hot water because it may shrink and fade 😟!
- ✅ Wash it by hand with white soap, liquid detergent for delicate clothes, or baby shampoo. If you still prefer to machine wash it, you can!! Just set it to delicate cycle, no spin, and use cold water!
- 🌈 If your amigurumi has many bright colors mixed with light colors, to prevent color bleeding, you can soak it (maximum 1 hour) in cold water with a few drops💦 of white vinegar before conventional washing!
- 💧 After washing, gently squeeze it to remove excess water and let it dry in a well-ventilated area, but not in direct sunlight☀️. Lay it flat on a drying rack or table in a horizontal position!
- 👶 If the amigurumi will be used by a newborn, you can do a pre-wash before the baby's contact for your greater peace of mind!
